Porsche‘s futuristic range of electric vehicles is not only limited to the world’s great roads, but has other ambitions that promise to revolutionize sustainable mobility.
The renowned German brand is developing an electric yacht, together with the Austrian company “Frauscher“, which will take Porsche’s E-Performance technology to the water.
As reported by the “Inside Evs” portal, the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air has the same attributes as the Taycan, the 100% electric sports sedan. It offers great acceleration, high power, excellent continuously available performance and an inspiring design.

Luxury and Sustainability
Lutz Meschke, Vice President and Member of the Management Board of Porsche AG with responsibility for Finance and Information Technology, explained that the focus of the project is to present a luxurious and sustainable vehicle.
“We are redefining this concept. We have set ourselves the goal of inspiring our customers and realizing their dreams. The Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air, like our sports cars, offers exceptional performance and a luxury experience,” he stressed.
The executive emphasized that electric propulsion systems are becoming increasingly important in the industry and are gaining in social acceptance. “Our customers are very happy with the advantages of electromobility, which is quiet, reliable and gives off no smoke or odor,” said Stefan Frauscher, CEO and Head of Marketing and Sales at the company.
“The collaboration with Porsche gives us the opportunity to leverage our leading role in this area. In addition, both companies have very similar values, are family-owned and focus on innovation, design and quality,” Frauscher noted.
The Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air is based on the Frauscher 858 Fantom Air yacht, whose 8.67-meter hull length and 2.49-meter beam remain virtually unchanged.
Porsche has taken its propulsion technology for road vehicles and optimized it for use on water. In this case, it is the latest-generation Premium Electric Platform (PPE) system, which will bring the future 100 percent electric Macan to life.
Porsche and Frauscher expect to deliver the first 25 units in 2024.
