Scania Drives Change Towards Sustainable Transport in Latin America

Scania continues to have a significant impact on mobility and sustainability in Colombia and Latin America.

The Swedish brand that drives the change towards a sustainable transport system, received, for the third consecutive year and at a regional level, the Top Employer 2024 recognition, thus reinforcing its position as an attractive and reliable employer in the labor market, both in Colombia and throughout the region.

Juan Carlos Ocampo, CEO of Scania Colombia, noted that the company firmly believes in people and their ability to transform the world.

“Receiving this certification again is a reflection of our commitment to the professional talent of our employees and that we are a company that strives daily to offer People Centricity experience: a key pillar in the Scania culture,” he explained.

“As an employer brand, we consider our employees as a central factor in our operations. This motivates us to look after their needs and offer favorable environments for the development of their potential,” said the executive.

Thus, the Swedish brand’s commercial operations in Colombia, Chile, Peru, Mexico and Argentina revalidated the international certification for the third consecutive year, consolidating its position in Latin America and highlighting that, in the Colombian market, it is the only company in the automotive sector to receive the certification.

This certification also reinforces Scania‘s purpose of leading the change towards a sustainable transportation system, through a responsible business model that seeks to develop its operations in a correct manner and promoting good practices.
