Siemens Mobility to Boost Train Engineering and Sustainability in Madrid

Siemens Mobility has announced the creation of an engineering and train design hub in Madrid, aiming to consolidate the company’s technological capabilities in the railway sector while contributing to the development of sustainable mobility solutions.

In this regard, Siemens Mobility highlighted that Spain has extensive expertise in railway engineering and highly qualified talent.

“Sustainable rail transport will be the backbone of future mobility, regardless of the current pandemic. We are not only bringing innovative technology to Spain, but we are also designing and exporting it from here to the rest of the world,” said Agustín Escobar, CEO of Siemens Mobility Spain and South-West Europe Region.
