Solarever to Establish Electric Vehicle Plant in Mexico

SEV, the automotive division of the Solarever group, together with the state of Durango, Mexico, announced a plan to establish an electric vehicle assembly plant.

The investment will be 6.8 billion Mexican pesos in a state-of-the-art facility located on a 13-hectare site, which aims to promote cleaner and more efficient mobility.

The choice of Durango as the location for this plant is based not only on its territorial extension but also on its potential to strengthen the local economy.

The factory, which is expected to start operations in 2025, will be inaugurated with the assembly of the E-Wan Cross mini SUV. The flexibility of the facility will allow the simultaneous manufacture of three models, providing versatility in responding to market dynamics and the evolution of SEV’s business strategies.
