Stellantis introduced the STLA Large platform, a versatile electric vehicle platform destined to underpin a diverse array of upcoming vehicles targeted at the worldwide D and E-segment markets.
The platform stands out for its industry-leading capabilities through power integration, charging efficiency, high-performance dynamics, and Trail Rated off-road capability, with built-in 118 kWh power, 4.5 kWh per minute charging efficiency, 0-100 km/h performance in approximately 2 seconds, 400 and 800-volt architectures with 800 km of range.
Full-size vehicles based on the STLA Large platform will have their North American market debut through the Dodge and Jeep brands, with future launches planned for other brands such as Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, and Maserati between 2024 and 2026, with the introduction of eight new models.

Stellantis Technology for Electric Models
The STLA Large platform has been conceived with technological flexibility, enabling greater vehicle diversity and ensuring quality and customer satisfaction from a basic set of components.
The next products to emerge from this platform will encompass cars, passenger cars, crossovers, and SUVs, which all will provide electric propulsion benefits, with instant response and zero emissions.
“Our goals for our STLA platforms are ambitious, but it is what our customers need from us today. Creating a family of vehicles from a well-designed set of components that is flexible enough to span multiple vehicle and propulsion types” says Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis.
“It will outperform any of our current products, it will address each of our iconic brand customers. The flexibility and agility of this platform is its hallmark and will be a driving force behind our success in the shift to electrification in North America,” he concluded.
