Tax incentives approved to promote electromobility in Nuevo León

The Governor of Nuevo Leon, Samuel Garcia, announced that the State will continue to grow economically and capture the “nearshoring” of the country, by formalizing before the Ministry of Economy key incentives to promote electromobility.

After the meeting with the head of the federal agency, Raquel Buenrostro Sanchez, the Regional President announced incentives of zero VAT, zero ISR, discounts on ISN, property tax, fast and digital procedures to investors who decide to have a development plan in Nuevo Leon.

“We formalized that the municipality of Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, our border municipality, will have the certificate, the decree of fiscal incentives to continue growing from eight to 16 crossings,” said Garcia in statements reviewed by the local media MSV Noticias.

Projects

The governor informed that they are going to inaugurate the La Gloria – Colombia Highway, direct from Monterrey to Laredo, Texas, and with it they are going to lower VAT by half, ISR, duty taxes and many other factors so that the municipality continues to grow and nearshoring will be boosted.

“We are going to detonate the north of Nuevo Leon and generate industrial parks. Let’s keep growing and keep nearshoring coming!”, he emphasized.

At the end of 2023, the Secretary of Labor of Nuevo León, Mexico, Federico Rojas Veloquio, presented the Nuevo León model “Electromobility, the employability of the future”.

He highlighted the work done since 2021 with the arrival of more than 140 foreign investment projects to the State of Nuevo Leon and the work done in labor matters.

Latam Mobility Arrives to Monterrey

Latam Mobility, Latin America’s largest sustainable mobility community, will arrive in Monterrey on February 8 with the “North America Mobility and Net Zero Summit 2024”.

The meeting will bring together industry leaders, major automotive manufacturers and prominent representatives from the public sector, who will offer perspectives and projects on sustainable mobility in Mexico and the region.
