Tupinambá and Raizen Partner for Electromobility in Brazil

Tupinambá, a company specializing in advanced solutions for the electric vehicle industry, has announced a strategic partnership with Raízen Power, an agreement that empowers Raízen‘s renewable energy division, a licensee of Shell Recharge, to manage Tupinambá’s electric vehicle charging network in Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

The agreement between the two companies covers the installation of 204 AC chargers, with the possibility of expanding to more than 600 additional points, with power capacities ranging from 7.4 to 22 kW.

This partnership represents an entry into the market for Raízen Power, which has so far focused on DC chargers. It also complements the suite of electric mobility solutions offered to electric vehicle owners.

Brazil Advances in Sustainable Mobility

According to Davi Bertoncello, CEO of Tupinambá, this agreement focuses exclusively on the development of technologies and software for the management of electric charging stations, a transaction that marks a new stage in the company’s growth and specialization in the electromobility sector.

“Tupinambá was born as a technology company, initially developing the application and then the charger management software. But we understand that to win the market we must focus on the customer experience, and that is why we also started pursuing the creation of the best connected network,” he said.

“With a quality network we were able to bring more people closer to the app and now we will continue working to create the best experience for those who need to charge an electric car,” he finished.
