United for Pereira: Supporting a Fresh Start

On August 10, Colombia experienced one of the most severe earthquakes in recent years. Pereira, one of the hardest-hit cities, is also a place that holds special meaning for our organization, as several members of the Invest in Latam, Latam Mobility, and Latam Green teams call it home.

For years, these individuals have contributed their talent, dedication, and hard work to the growth of our community across Latin America. Today, unfortunately, some of them have lost their homes and most of the belongings they worked so hard to build.

For this reason, we are launching this relief campaign—backed and verified by our organization—with the commitment that 100% of funds raised will go directly to supporting those affected in their recovery and rebuilding efforts.

Our Goal

We aim to raise COP $34,000,000 (approximately EUR 9,500 or USD $11,000) to provide direct support to team members impacted by the earthquake.

Funds will be allocated as follows:

– Home Rebuilding for Two Team Members

• Rent and basic utilities for the coming months: COP $16,000,000
• Appliances and essential items to re-equip their homes: COP $10,000,000
• Urgent expenses, transportation, documentation, and basic needs: COP $4,000,000
• Subtotal: COP $30,000,000

– Solidarity Fund for two former community members also affected by the emergency: COP $4,000,000
