University in Mexico to Educate Professionals in Electromobility

Authorities at the Metropolitan University of Aguascalientes, Mexico, electromobility represents a great challenge to prepare in the technological area.

Jaime Damián, Director of the University, told the local newspaper Binoticias that they have prepared a whole system to teach future students how to respond to the transition and that they will be the ones to lead the way to electromobility.

The teacher points out that electric mobility is that transition of cars, trains or means of transport that currently use fuel that pollutes and convert them to electric transport.

“Perhaps the concept of electromobility brings to mind various types of transportation of the future, because the future has already reached us and to be able to be in tune and to impact the environment and promote sustainability in Mexico, is that this career comes to help us to train professionals,” he explained.

Damián pointed out that they are committed to train students who will work in these areas in which it is necessary to design new technology batteries; install charging centers for this type of cars, not only hybrids but also 100% electric cars.

He called on students to get to know the curricula, the careers focused on this industry and everything the University offers so that they can prepare themselves in the best way.

Latam Mobility closes tour in Mexico City

After a successful start to the year in Monterrey, Latam Mobility, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America, closes 2024 in Mexico City.

There will be two days, on October 15 and 16, where industry leaders and private sector representatives will provide perspectives on mobility, electromobility, sustainability, among others.
