VEMO Partners with Banco Santander to Promote Sustainable Mobility in Mexico

Banco Santander Mexico and VEMO, a Mexican company that seeks to accelerate the adoption of clean mobility technologies through comprehensive solutions in Latin America, signed a strategic alliance.

The partnership will offer customers highly competitive leasing solutions that combine VEMO’s expertise in electromobility with Santander’s financial strength and leadership in sustainable financing.

Through this collaboration, Santander and VEMO will serve customers with fleets of more than 100 vehicles, which represent an important part of the market and where fleet electrification is constantly growing.

VEMO highlights in a press release that the Latin American market did not have an integrated electric mobility solution to support an orderly, fast and efficient transition; therefore, together with Santander, they will dedicate efforts to complement capabilities and thus achieve a sustainable and accelerated growth in adoption.

Michael Goeters, CEO of Santander Leasing, said that this alliance seeks to provide comprehensive and economically viable solutions to our customers for the migration of their fleets to electric mobility, hand in hand with leaders in electromobility such as VEMO.

“This complements Grupo Santander’s value offer in terms of sustainable financing, ratifying our commitment to accompany our clients with high-value solutions in the transition to a greener economy.
