Volkswagen Truck & Bus México showcased its commitment to clean mobility at the Third Meeting on Technology and Sustainable Mobility.

The company introduced key initiatives to decarbonize freight transport, focusing on its eDelivery electric truck and the rollout of Euro VI vehicles.

eDelivery: a fully electric truck for urban logistics

At the event hosted by the National Association of Private Transport (ANTP), attendees had the opportunity to test drive the eDelivery truck—an all-electric vehicle with a gross weight of 14 tons, also available in an 11-ton version.

These zero-emission trucks are a pillar of Volkswagen’s ESG strategy, tailored for efficient and eco-friendly urban operations.

Cleaner freight with Euro VI standards

Volkswagen Truck & Bus México also announced the arrival of its new Euro VI fleet, manufactured in Brazil.

This technology significantly reduces pollutant emissions and enhances operational safety and efficiency. The company is certified under ISO 14001 and participates in the Clean Transport Program in Mexico.

Supporting the transition to sustainable logistics

The strategy includes supporting clients in adopting these new technologies through technical assistance and enhanced product design.

With this approach, Volkswagen aims to position itself as a leader in Mexico’s sustainable freight sector.
