Wallbox, a leading global provider of charging and energy management solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with Atlante with the aim of deploying the most extensive public charging network in Southern Europe.
Thanks to this partnership with Wallbox, Atlante will be able to accelerate the implementation of its ambitious project, which foresees the installation of 5,000 fast charging stations by 2025 and more than 35,000 by 2030 in Spain, Italy, France and Portugal.
In this way, fast charging stations equipped with Wallbox’s Supernova public charger in its 60 kW and the latest 150 kW versions will be strategically located along the main corridors connecting southern Europe, complying with the legislation approved by the European Parliament.

This regulation establishes the obligation to have at least one charging point every 60 kilometers on the basic road network of the European Union and every 100 kilometers on the rest of the roads of the integral trans-European network, as well as in parking lots and strategic urban areas.
Once operational, it will be the first public network consisting exclusively of charging stations powered by 100% renewable energy. In addition, wherever possible, they will be equipped with photovoltaic panels and energy storage systems.
