By the end of 2022, it will have a fleet of 1,770 electric buses, the largest of its kind in Latin America and the second largest in the world, behind only China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scenario opens the doors to Latam Mobility: Chile, a high-level face-to-face Summit that will involve the heads of companies that make up various areas of sustainable mobility, from the financial sector and charging infrastructure, to automotive manufacturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, which will take place at the W Santiago Hotel on August 30 and 31, participants will be able to take part in networking spaces in order to generate sustainable investments, expand contact networks, establish alliances, among other activities of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The road to zero emissions in public transportation, technological advances, perspectives and plans of government entities, as well as trends in freight infrastructure, will be some of the topics to be addressed in the panels that will make up the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-is-chile-a-capital-of-sustainable-mobility\">Why is Chile a Capital of Sustainable Mobility?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to having the largest fleet of electric buses in Latin America, Chile is known not only for having one of the largest lithium reserves in the world, but also for being one of the main producers of this mineral, which is vital for the manufacture of electric car batteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, the accumulated sales of electric vehicles in the Latin American country have reached all-time highs.
