In <strong>Madrid<\/strong>, <strong><em>the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan<\/em><\/strong> was launched, which sets <strong>a target of achieving a fleet of three million electric cars by 2030<\/strong>, a challenge that should mean having at least 340,000 public access charging points by that date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public-private partnership is essential to achieve the goals, which is why one of the most powerful charging centers was inaugurated in the Spanish capital with the support of the company <strong>Circontrol.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company launched its first <strong>400 kW chargers in the hub opened in the center of Madrid<\/strong>, which will provide a total of 2.5 megawatts of power for charging electric vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project will be one of the largest indoor charging centers in Europe, and will meet the needs for fast charging in the center of a large city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Read also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/nissan-chile-and-copec-voltex-strengthen-charging-infrastructure\/\"><strong>Nissan Chile and Copec Voltex Strengthen Charging Infrastructure<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-facts\"><strong>Key Facts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The location of the charging center is strategic, as it will facilitate the use of electric vehicles in the center of the Spanish capital thanks <strong>to the 12 high-power fast chargers that have been installed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Circontrol <\/strong>detailed in a <a href=\"https:\/\/circontrol.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>press releas<\/strong>e<\/a> that the installation is located on floor -1, it will consist of four 400 kW high power chargers, four 200 kW chargers and four 50 kW chargers. All of them make up a charging center designed to charge hundreds of kilometers of autonomy in a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Circontrol&#8217;s <\/strong>General Manager, <strong>Joan Hinojo<\/strong>, explained that with the installation of the four <strong>Raption 400<\/strong> at Canalejas, the company has once again demonstrated its ability to keep pace with the market, which is increasingly demanding more powerful and faster chargers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;At <strong>Circontrol <\/strong>we are committed to HPC charging but we do not forget that electric vehicle charging must combine fast charging with slow charging in other environments such as domestic, business or leisure environments, among others and that is why we develop charging solutions for all of them,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project was carried out with the support of <strong>Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Madrid<\/strong> (EMT) and is also framed within the <strong>Madrid 360 Environmental Sustainability Strategy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The high demand for electric vehicles exposes the need for a robust and massive charging infrastructure in the market.
