{"id":13059,"date":"2022-09-29T08:20:17","date_gmt":"2022-09-29T13:20:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=13059"},"modified":"2022-09-29T08:29:07","modified_gmt":"2022-09-29T13:29:07","slug":"enel-x-way-to-transform-petrobras-chile-stations-into-electric-lanes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/enel-x-way-to-transform-petrobras-chile-stations-into-electric-lanes\/","title":{"rendered":"Enel X Way to Transform Petrobras Chile Stations into Electric Lanes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to decarbonize the vehicle fleet and achieve carbon neutrality in their operations, oil companies and companies linked to the energy sector are carrying out strategies and alliances for the transition to renewable sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In London, for example, <strong>Shell <\/strong>is transforming its service stations into electric stations through a joint effort with the city authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A similar initiative is being sought in Latin America, after <strong>Petrobras Chile<\/strong> signed an agreement with <strong>Enel X Way<\/strong>, the <strong>Enel Group&#8217;s<\/strong> electromobility division, to start converting gas stations into charging points for electric vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Read also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/chevrolet-equinox-to-lead-general-motors-strategy-to-introduce-electric-cars-at-affordable-prices\/\"><strong>Chevrolet Equinox to Lead General Motors\u2019 Strategy to Introduce Electric Cars at Affordable Prices<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-applied-technology\"><strong>Applied Technology<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both companies informed that the points will be located in Petrobras&#8217; network of stations throughout the country, where two fast chargers will be incorporated with the possibility of simultaneously charging two vehicles up to 60kW of power and with Asian (chademo) and European (CCS2 and Type 2) standard connectors, providing electric vehicle users with a broad charging alternative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Petrobras currently has <strong>two operational points and around 23 service stations are in the execution stage<\/strong>.
