{"id":13713,"date":"2022-10-14T07:17:35","date_gmt":"2022-10-14T12:17:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=13713"},"modified":"2022-10-14T07:17:36","modified_gmt":"2022-10-14T12:17:36","slug":"amazon-to-invest-e1-billion-in-electric-trucks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/amazon-to-invest-e1-billion-in-electric-trucks\/","title":{"rendered":"Amazon to Invest \u20ac1 billion in Electric Trucks"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of its ambitious sustainability strategy, e-commerce giant <strong>Amazon<\/strong> has made significant resources available in the field of mobility, with the aim of reducing its carbon footprint in the midst of delivering goods to its customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company&#8217;s roadmap focuses on all fronts and after announcing the launch of 71 new renewable projects around the world, it will <strong>invest 1 billion euros to incorporate electric trucks and vans.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the vehicles that <strong>Amazon <\/strong>will have will be of the Swedish brand <strong>Volvo<\/strong>, which has a large presence worldwide with a wide range of electrified cars and will provide 20 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there are also other manufacturers that would be part of Amazon&#8217;s plans.
