As part of the celebration of its 175th anniversary, Siemens<\/strong> announced an ambitious project that promises to exceed the standards of innovation ever seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is a smart city<\/strong> in Berlin, Germany, a project for which they will invest 600 million euros<\/strong>. With the name “Siemensstadt”<\/em><\/strong>, the company promises to create a metropolis full of technology, sustainability, electromobility and a great digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “There will be around 420,000 square meters of modern office space, 190,000 for digitally supported production and 275,000 in residential mode. 2,700 apartments are to be built with the aim of one day having around 6,000 people living here, not just employees,”<\/strong> explained “Siemensstadt Square” managing director Stefan K\u00f6gel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
