With the name <strong><em>&#8220;Siemensstadt&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>, the company promises to create a metropolis full of technology, sustainability, electromobility and a great digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;There will be around 420,000 square meters of modern office space, 190,000 for digitally supported production and 275,000 in residential mode. 2,700 apartments are to be built with the aim of one day having around 6,000 people living here, not just employees,&#8221;<\/strong> explained &#8220;Siemensstadt Square&#8221; managing director Stefan K\u00f6gel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/shell-opens-recharging-center-in-argentina-with-technological-support-from-siemens\/\"><strong>Shell Opens Recharging Center in Argentina with Technological Support from Siemens<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-planning-for-the-next-decade\"><strong>Planning for the Next Decade<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new <strong>Siemensstadt Berlin<\/strong>, whose construction will begin this year and is scheduled for completion in 2035, will cover 73 hectares where it will combine climate-friendly energy supply, sustainable mobility solutions, integrated rainwater management and barrier-free access. He used his speech to emphasize on the need to look for alternative clean energies due to the current juncture they face because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our urgent motivation must be to achieve energy independence and to make Germany climate neutral by 2045.
