The plan has goals for<strong> 2030, 2040 and 2050, <\/strong>designed based on studies and projections carried out by the <strong>National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change <\/strong>(INECC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Private sector companies are seeking to adhere to this initiative in order to reduce their emissions and contribute to the mitigation of climate change, as indicated in the Paris Agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the companies working in this direction is <strong>Grupo Lala<\/strong>, which announced the acquisition of 30 electric vehicles to reduce the environmental impact of its operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company, founded in Torre\u00f3n in 1949, belongs to the food industry, mainly focused on the dairy and meat industries. It is present in <strong>Mexico, the United States, Brazil and Central America.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The acquisition of the first 100% electric refrigerated fleet is part of <strong>Grupo Lala<\/strong>&#8216;s sustainability strategy, which seeks to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Read also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/audi-charging-arrives-to-europe-with-400000-chargers-in-27-countries\/\"><strong>\u201cAudi Charging\u201d Arrives to Europe with 400,000 Chargers in 27 Countries<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-unit-details\"><strong>Unit Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The electric fleet consists of T45C models, which have a range of up to 210 kilometers (km) and a load capacity of three tons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They incorporate regenerative braking technology and represent an approximate annual reduction of 11.7 tons of CO2 per unit, thus contributing to the annual reduction of 351 tons of carbon emitted to the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through a press release, the company emphasized that they are pioneers in introducing 100% electric refrigerated units and are committed to continuing their participation in the &#8220;<strong>Clean Transportation, Excellent Environmental Performance<\/strong>&#8221; program, granted by the Ministry of the Environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 30 100% electric trucks are in addition to the 233 units with Euro 5 technology and the 732 hybrid units -which by the end of the year will total 1,050 hybrid units- that the company has in Torre\u00f3n, Quer\u00e9taro, Veracruz, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mexico City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By 2030, <strong>Grupo Lala has set the goal that 32% of its fleet will be 100% electric<\/strong> (around 1,932 vehicles), that is, one out of every three delivery units.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During 2022, Mexico&#8217;s Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) unveiled the National Electric Mobility Strategy (ENME).
