{"id":16079,"date":"2023-01-30T06:05:00","date_gmt":"2023-01-30T11:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=16079"},"modified":"2023-01-28T20:01:46","modified_gmt":"2023-01-29T01:01:46","slug":"mexico-chile-and-colombia-key-targets-for-blink-chargings-expansion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/mexico-chile-and-colombia-key-targets-for-blink-chargings-expansion\/","title":{"rendered":"Mexico, Chile and Colombia: Key Targets for Blink Charging&#8217;s Expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>At the end of 2022, <strong>Blink Charging<\/strong> announced a partnership with the 100% clean energy vehicle app <strong>&#8220;Citybestapp&#8221;<\/strong> to install new charging points and accelerate electric mobility in <strong>Chile <\/strong>and Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is progressing significantly in both countries, and <strong>additional chargers will be deployed in Colombia starting in March 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working with <strong>Citybest<\/strong>, <strong>Blink <\/strong>is poised to build an electric vehicle charging ecosystem to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in major cities in <strong>Mexico<\/strong>, <strong>Chile <\/strong>and <strong>Colombia <\/strong>as spearheads, but has other countries in the region on the agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read also<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/enel-introduces-circularity-index-with-the-target-of-doubling-it-by-2030\/\"><strong>Enel Introduces Circularity Index with the Target of Doubling it by 2030<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-applied-technology\"><strong>Applied Technology<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new <strong>Blink MQ 200 Level 2<\/strong> charger planned to be installed in <strong>Mexico <\/strong>helps make electric vehicle charging more accessible to drivers at destination locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Blink<\/strong> detailed in a press release that <strong>the device is well-equipped for multi-car locations with a fast 50-amp output and effortless user experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It offers 4G and WiFi connectivity, <strong>Smart Grid technology for direct communication with local utilitie<\/strong>s, local load management for two or more chargers to share power from a single circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-chile-equipment\"><strong>Chile Equipment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The scheduled installation in <strong>Chile <\/strong>is the recently launched <strong>Blink EQ 200 Level 2 charger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With up to 50 amps of output, the three-phase AC charger is a smart, affordable and scalable charging solution that adapts to any location with its compact design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both chargers focus on delivering efficiency and smart scalability with growth in mind with supporting technologies such as <strong>Plug &amp; Charge<\/strong> (ISO 15118) functionality that allows any vehicle with this capability to start the charger instantly after plugging in, OCPP 2.0 and two-way charging (V2G).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Michael D.
