Important progress continues to be made in Mexico with the aim of promoting electric mobility not only in the country, but throughout the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The North American Leaders Summit (NALS) was held in 2023 with the participation of the President of the United States, Joe Biden<\/strong>; the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau<\/strong>; and the President of Mexico, Andr\u00e9s Manuel L\u00f3pez Obrador<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The meeting resulted in historic agreements to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles, reduce emissions and comply with the Paris agreements to address climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A few days ago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) presented the Mexico-States Working Group for the Electrification of Transportation<\/a><\/strong>, a high-level initiative developed jointly by the Foreign Ministry and the University of California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
