BYD <\/strong>continues to make a strong commitment to the Latin American market with a large participation in Colombia, where its operations contribute significantly to the development of electric mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chinese multinational is the leader in electric buses in the country with more than 1,550 units operating in different mass transit systems, most of which are in Transmilenio. This fleet avoids the emission of 94,300 tons of CO2<\/sub> per year, equivalent to planting 2,500,000 trees.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0Additionally, BYD <\/strong>has a fleet of around one hundred electric cabs and special service vehicles in operation for more than 10 years, with an average of 600,000 kilometers per vehicle<\/strong>, and is the only brand that offers the most complete portfolio of light and heavy duty electric trucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
