The commercialization of electric vehicles in Chile <\/strong>continues to rise and projects higher figures than in previous years, according to data provided by the National Automotive Association of Chile<\/a><\/strong> (ANAC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n In February 2023 alone, a total of 587 new zero or low emission vehicles were sold. This corresponds to an increase of 32.5% compared to the same month last year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Regarding the total number of zero or low emission vehicles, the automotive guild detailed that the registrations of vehicles powered by zero and low emission technologies continue to grow steadily this 2023 with an accumulated increase of 53.7% during January and February<\/strong>, with respect to the same period of 2022. A total of 1,090 units have been sold so far this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
