Compared to the same period of 2022, there is an <strong>increase of 25.01% in the total number of units<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In February 2023, 4,294 low-emission cars were registered, compared to 3,435 in the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Related content: <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/brazil-to-be-the-new-destination-for-the-latam-mobility-net-zero-day\/\">Brazil to be the New Destination for the \u201cLatam Mobility &amp; Net Zero Day\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-bimonthly-balance\"><strong>Bimonthly Balance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With respect to the first months of the year, in 2023, the total number of electrified vehicles registered was 8,797 units, representing <strong>an increase of 46.78% compared to the previous year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the lines, <strong>BEVs <\/strong>(100% Battery Electric Vehicles) and <strong>PHEVs <\/strong>(Pug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles), which experienced a great evolution in the market, stand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, 402 units of BEVs were licensed in February. In 2023, in the second month of the year alone, there were 638, <strong>an increase of 58.71%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PHEVs increased even more with 134.80% in registrations. In February of this year alone, <strong>1,383 units were registered<\/strong>, compared to 589 in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hev-figures\"><strong>HEV Figures<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is also an increase in the registration of hybrid vehicles, the <strong>HEVs<\/strong>. Considering the month of February, 540 vehicles were registered in 2023, compared to 387 in the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>HEVflex<\/strong>, on the other hand, had a drop in the comparison between February 2022 and this year.
