As part of its ambitious expansion plan, BYD <\/strong>lands in Mexico with three high-tech electric models that promise to revolutionize sustainable mobility in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chinese manufacturer has distributors already operating in Mexico City and Guadalajara, and expects to sell 5,000 units this year and quadruple that figure by 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BYD will start operations with three models: the Yuan Plus EV<\/strong>, a compact SUV with an entry price of 799,000 pesos; the Han EV<\/strong>, a sedan with a starting price of 1,369,000 pesos; and the Tang EV<\/strong>, a high-end SUV that starts at 1,399,000 pesos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Features<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The cars are equipped with great technology and proposals for a very demanding premium sector, with different themes and visions for the three models presented and driving the electric revolution in the automotive industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BYD Yuan<\/strong> aims to be the second electric SUV of the brand to arrive in Mexico, with LFP batteries and up to 510 km of autonomy<\/strong>. The size is similar to that of the Peugeot 3008 and represents a very good option for both city and touring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Han EV<\/strong> is a sedan with a length of 4.9 meters, a range of 602 kilometers and acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers in 3.9 seconds. The Tang EV SUV<\/strong>, which is 4.87 meters long, has a range of 505 kilometers <\/strong>and acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers in 4.4 seconds, is also available in North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to its distributors, the brand informed that it would market its models through Liverpool stores. To boost this part of its business, the retailer created a new division dedicated to automotive loans and will set up four showrooms to exhibit the Chinese carmaker’s cars, which will be located in shopping malls in Mexico City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
