The Ministries of Finance and Mines and Energy have focused efforts on the energy transition, which aims to ensure the country&#8217;s energy sovereignty, democratize access and take key actions to combat global warming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hydrogen and the commitment to zero-emission mobility is a neuralgic point in both government agendas. A few days ago, <strong>Colombian authorities supported the launch of the first hydrogen bus that will start operating in Bogota during the month of July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government is aware that the road to carbon neutrality will not be easy and proposes a gradual transition plan with five main axes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, they will encourage greater investments in clean energy and decarbonization. They will also promote the progressive substitution of the demand for fossil fuels, greater energy efficiency, review and eventual relaxation of regulations to accelerate the generation of clean energies and reindustrialization of the Colombian economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministries of Justice, Science, Education, Housing, City and Territory, and the High Commissioner for Peace, <strong>Danilo Rueda<\/strong>, along with other high-level government officials, represented Colombia at the High-Level Dialogue held in the United States.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Washington, United States, hosted the High Level Dialogue (HLD) where, in addition to discussing important bilateral and diplomatic issues, mobility had an interesting space for development in Latin America.
