The International Energy Agency<\/strong> has set a goal of reaching 60% of the electric vehicle market by 2030<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a part of this roadmap, Mexico has committed to having 50% of its vehicle matrix with zero-emission cars by 2035<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this regard, the National Auto Parts Industry<\/strong> (INA), the Mexican Automotive Industry Association<\/strong> (AMIA) and the Mexican Association of Automotive Distributors <\/strong>(AMDA) seek to work together to contribute to the development of electric mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The organizations believe that the transition towards electromobility will drive the creation of new jobs in Mexico’s components and automotive sector in the coming years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jos\u00e9 Zozaya<\/strong>, representative of AMIA<\/strong>; Guillermo Rosales<\/strong> of AMDA <\/strong>and Omar Mart\u00ednez <\/strong>of INA<\/strong>, offered a joint statement on issues related to the energy transition of the automotive fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
