Proposals for the electrification of vehicles through government incentives that promote investments from the private sector have positioned Colombia as one of the leading countries in the decarbonization of the vehicle fleet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Specifically, Bogota received a new recognition at the International Mobility Awards in Madrid<\/strong>, Spain, obtaining the distinction for being the city that is promoting sustainable mobility the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The organization that presented the awards highlighted that, according to data and projects, it is evident that Bogota is leading electric mobility in Latin America, promoting the use of bicycles and an integrated public transport system that is accessible and adapted to the needs. All through its “Mobility Master Plan<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The gala of this recognition was held at La Nave<\/strong>, the most important innovation center of the City Council of Madrid, Spain. The meeting was attended by institutional representatives, jurors, winners and representatives of organizations that are part of the Business Platform for Sustainable Mobility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The system has made Bogota a world reference in the use of bicycles, not only for recreational purposes, but also as a means of transportation. <\/strong>All this is due to the fact that it has the largest network of bicycle routes in Latin America, with a total of 600 kilometers and 880,000 daily bicycle trips<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
