Technology companies and major automotive manufacturers have set themselves the ambitious goal of producing batteries capable of generating 1,000 kilometers (km) of autonomy in electric vehicles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of them is China-based startup Gotion High Tech<\/strong>, a Volkswagen <\/strong>supplier, which presented its new L600 LMFP Astroinno<\/strong> battery at its Annual Technology Conference and said that mass production will begin in 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the company, the LMFP <\/strong>(lithium-manganese-iron-phosphate) battery has already passed all necessary safety tests and has a life of 4,000 charge and discharge cycles<\/strong>, making it suitable for everyday electric cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
