In almost a decade of operations in Brazilian territory, BYD continues to expand the radar to massify electromobility in the Amazonian country<\/strong>. The Chinese manufacturer arrived in Brazil in 2015, when it inaugurated its first 100% electric bus assembly plant in Campinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It currently has five models launched and a consolidated network of dealerships in operation<\/strong>. In addition, in April 2022, BYD Energy<\/strong> inaugurated new facilities and a complete line of photovoltaic modules in the Brazilian market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recently, the Asian brand sealed an agreement to land in the city of Bahia and simultaneously start up three factories in Cama\u00e7ari<\/strong>, 50 kilometers (km) from Salvador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With a multi-million dollar investment, BYD reaffirms its commitment to the Brazilian automotive industry<\/strong>. Domestic production will allow more competitive prices and the possibility for citizens to have access to electric vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
