{"id":21317,"date":"2023-08-02T05:05:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-02T10:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=21317"},"modified":"2023-08-01T17:08:51","modified_gmt":"2023-08-01T22:08:51","slug":"mexico-mobility-law-passed-in-campeche","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/mexico-mobility-law-passed-in-campeche\/","title":{"rendered":"Mexico: Mobility Law Passed in Campeche"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Outside the big cities, important initiatives are also emerging to promote the decarbonization of the vehicle fleet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although it is true that they do not have the same level of population, the regions suffer equally from the effects of pollution from the transportation sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Against this backdrop, the <strong>Congress of Campeche<\/strong>, <strong>Mexico<\/strong>, unanimously approved the <strong>Mobility Law<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The law seeks to improve the quality of life of Campeche&#8217;s citizens by promoting an efficient, safe and sustainable public transportation service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the main provisions of the legislation, <strong>the regulation of platforms such as Uber and Didi<\/strong>, among others, stand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/iusa-electric-units-incorporated-in-mexico-citys-metrobus\/\"><strong>IUSA Electric Units Incorporated in Mexico City\u2019s Metrob\u00fas<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-step\"><strong>Key Step<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The law represents a milestone in the history of Campeche, as <strong>it is the first time that specific regulations are established to regulate these new forms of mobility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, it reflects the commitment of the main actors for the modernization and improvement of infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The process of approval of the law was the result of a joint work between the different political forces of the Congress, highlighting the support of the deputies, who <strong>recognized the importance of having a modern regulation, according to the needs of the population and technological advances<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the approval of the text, <strong>Campeche is at the forefront of Mexican entities in terms of mobility<\/strong>, providing a solid legal framework that will facilitate the implementation of effective measures to improve the public transportation system, which has long been requested by the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is worth noting that <strong>Mexico is among the top 10 in the world in terms of GHG emissions in the transportation sector<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the country, <strong>transportation is responsible for the emission of 148 million tons of CO<sub>2<\/sub><\/strong> and represents the second source of GHG emissions after electricity generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-latam-mobility-summit\"><strong>Latam Mobility Summit<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On October 10 and 11<\/strong>, the &#8220;<strong>Latam Mobility: Mexico 2023<\/strong>&#8221; will be held at the Word Trade Center in Mexico City, at a key moment for the development and promotion of new technologies that make up the sustainable mobility environment.<br><br>In Mexican territory, <strong>Latam Mobility closes the 2023 tour<\/strong>, in its efforts as part of the main networking and value generation network in Latin America, <strong>Invest in Latam,<\/strong> which integrates initiatives such as <strong>Latam Green<\/strong>, in the field of sustainability, and <strong>H2 Business News<\/strong>, linked to clean fuels.<br><br>To purchase tickets for &#8220;<strong>Latam Mobility: Mexico 2023<\/strong>&#8221; click <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Outside the big cities, important initiatives are also emerging to promote the decarbonization of the vehicle fleet.
