The work to have legislation that encourages investment, the backing of European funds and the willingness of the private sector are key on the road to decarbonization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this sense,<strong> Iberdrola has become one of the important players in the energy transition in the Iberian territory.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It recently formed an alliance with the<strong> Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility<\/strong> (Aedive), which aims to integrate the entire value chain of road freight transport in Spain to reduce emissions in all activities related to heavy transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On that occasion,<strong> Iberdrola joins Cabify to promote sustainable mobility through a strategic agreement to boost the electrification of VTC freelancers and cab drivers<\/strong> collaborating with the platform, in order to facilitate their access to public charging infrastructures of the energy company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Related content:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/iberdrola-and-aedive-sign-alliance-to-promote-electromobility-in-transport-in-spain\/\"><strong>Iberdrola and Aedive Sign Alliance to Promote Electromobility in Transport in Spain<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-agreement-details\"><strong>Agreement Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement has a duration of four years and ensures that it offers <strong>a series of discounts applicable to more than 2,200 recharging points distributed throughout Spain with guaranteed origin of 100% renewable electricity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cabify<\/strong>&#8216;s collaborating partners will be able to access an advantageous price on recharges made in Iberdrola&#8217;s public network. Through the energy company&#8217;s <strong>Public Recharge<\/strong> application, they will be able to locate the equipment and know its status at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, they will have <strong>special conditions on the price of private recharging equipment for installation in their homes<\/strong> in the case of self-employed VTC or cab drivers and the same conditions in company points in the case of fleets of more than one car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-macro-vision\"><strong>Macro Vision<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement reached with <strong>Iberdrola <\/strong>is part of <strong>Cabify<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Sustainable Business Strategy<\/strong>, which seeks to promote the decarbonization of collaborating fleets with agreements with manufacturers and other companies that favor electrification with the aim that 1<strong>00% of trips on the platform in Spain will be in zero-emission vehicles by 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For its part, <strong>Iberdrola has signed more than 60 agreements with public and private organizations to promote and lead the transition to sustainable mobility and the electrification of transport<\/strong>.<br><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spain has made significant progress in sustainable mobility during 2023.
