In total, since EV manufacturing began in Mexico with the Mustang Mach-E, 192,422 cars have been produced.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Related content:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/mexico-city-to-become-the-mobility-and-sustainability-hub-of-the-continent\/\"><strong>Mexico City to Become the Mobility and Sustainability Hub of the Continent<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform&#8217;s report reveals that the Mustang Mach-E increased production by 36% so far, while the <strong>domestic sales success of the JAC E 10X led to a 137% increase in manufacturing during 2023<\/strong>, with more than 1,259 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the projection for the end of this year, <strong>Directorio Automotriz<\/strong> updated its estimate upwards, with <strong>a total of 223,640 electric vehicles made in Mexico<\/strong>, which would represent an increase of 181.4% compared to 2022, a proportion an order of magnitude higher than the increase in production of internal combustion vehicles in Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-details\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, <strong>Directorio Automotriz also presents a projection for the sale of 100% battery electric vehicles in Mexico by the end of 2023, which could exceed 10 thousand units for the first time in its history<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This would represent an <strong>increase of 93.5%. On the other hand, sales of plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) would increase by 66% to 7,600 units and the conventional hybrid (HEV) segment would fall for the second consecutive year to just over 40 thousand units sold nationwide.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-auto-parts\"><strong>Auto Parts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the publication, <strong>the supply chain has increased by 79.7%<\/strong>, only four months after the first report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daniel Romo<\/strong>, Business Intelligence Leader at <strong>Directorio Automotriz<\/strong>, explained the great impact the report has on operators&#8217; decision making.}<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We will continue mapping the automotive industry at a national level in order to continue linking businesses among these companies.
