An initiative created six years ago has had an environmental and economic impact in Chile. It is the “Oxygen Route”, a plan that has already visited more than fifty municipalities throughout the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the focuses of the program is to raise awareness in the community about the relevance of green resources in people’s quality of life, and to highlight the range of sustainable alternatives such as electromobility, wind and solar energy and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this sense, the President of the Board of Directors of “Ruta del Ox\u00edgeno<\/strong>“, Marcelo Soto<\/strong>, highlighted the importance of linking with the municipalities, through local entrepreneurship fairs, where they seek to know what the neighbors are working on, their enterprises and local initiatives of electric mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inclusive Fair<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The activity that took place in the town of Rancagua<\/strong>, counted with the presence of electric cars, a sustainable caravan, buses, scooters and a series of other vehicles mobilized with electric energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the activity was to make visible the impact of electromobility and clean energies on society in the commune of Rancagua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this sense, the communal chief, Juan Ram\u00f3n Godoy<\/strong> pointed out that the spaces seek to make visible innovative projects that allow to advance in the path of a greener and more sustainable Rancagua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This Oxygen Route, which is being done for the first time in Rancagua and in the O’Higgins Region, gave us a sample of the use and scope of electromobility,” <\/strong>he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Godoy explained that students from the community invest their valuable time in making municipal electric vehicles. “We have to change culturally, so that Rancagua is a green and sustainable city<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chile as a Sustainable Mobility Hub<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As one of the key players in the region in building the largest sustainable community in Latin America, Latam Mobility is coming to Chile on August 27-28 as part of the Mobility and Sustainability Tour 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting will bring together leading personalities from the public sector and private companies, with the aim of offering their perspectives and a snapshot of the current sustainable mobility landscape in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
