The Mobility in Harmony<\/strong> (MIH) consortium, created in 2020 by electronics giant Foxconn for the development of an open electric vehicle platform, will use Canadian BlackBerry<\/strong>‘s software for the automobile operating system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n BlackBerry recently announced that Foxconn, the world’s largest manufacturer of Apple’s iPhone, will use its QNX operating system<\/strong>, its IVY automotive artificial intelligence platform and other services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As reported by the EFE <\/strong>news agency, one of the electric vehicle prototypes of MIH <\/strong>(a consortium comprising hundreds of companies, including Tata, Karma, Lordstown Motors and Microsoft<\/strong>) is Project X<\/strong>, a three-person car designed for the Asian market that will be presented in Japan at the end of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Among the highly innovative new products presented a few weeks ago, MIH <\/strong>also announced the development of larger vehicle platforms with seating for six and nine people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is worth noting that BlackBerry QNX<\/strong> is used in more than 215 million vehicles worldwide, produced by manufacturers such as BMW, Ford, General Motors (GM), Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Volkswagen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nHigh-tech Range<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
