Circontrol<\/strong> launched Genion One<\/strong><\/a>, a device that allows electric vehicle drivers to further reduce their carbon footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The technology offers the possibility of charging electric vehicles with 100% green energy, coming from its photovoltaic panels. The tool is a complement to the eHome Link<\/strong>, which is one of the company’s main home chargers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eloi Bellart<\/strong>, Genion One’s Product Manager, pointed out that it will make the most of the photovoltaic installation because drivers will be able to use the solar surplus to charge their vehicle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The new Genion One allows the management of simultaneous charging of two electric vehicles, a factor that differentiates Circontrol’s solution from that of other brands and that will be key with the definitive implementation of electric mobility in homes,” <\/strong>he stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Circontrol <\/strong>highlights that the device has three operating modes to maximize savings and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Genion One offers the user up to three charging modes: Just Green, which charges the vehicle only with solar surplus, Smart Mix, which combines solar and grid power, and Boost mode, which can be activated manually when it is necessary to accelerate charging and use all available household power to do so.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These modes can be easily programmed from any smart phone or tablet through its web application. From it, the user can also visualize in real time the circulating power of the home and the status of his electric vehicle charger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, it allows you to configure the contracted power for each time slot, define a charging schedule or select a charging mode for each time of day and thus be able to take advantage of the most advantageous electricity rates and the times of day with the most sunshine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
