In this sense, the MODALT project, in collaboration with <strong>AIMPLAS<\/strong>, has been conceived with the purpose of addressing this challenge effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>It aims to accelerate the development<\/strong> and validation of high-performance electric mobility technologies, thus preparing the industry to take advantage of new market opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Related content:<\/strong> <a class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This industrial research, supported by funding from the <strong>Valencian Innovation Agency<\/strong> (AVI), focuses on design, prototyping, testing and validation of a energy-efficient electric mobility applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-seeking-sustainability\"><strong>Seeking Sustainability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Processing and treatment with thermoplastic matrices offer <strong>the possibility of incorporating conductive particles and flame retardants<\/strong>, resulting in crucial properties such as protection against electromagnetic interference and fire resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, <strong>the reinforcement with long fibers<\/strong> makes it possible to create materials with high stiffness, without negatively affecting their ability to withstand impacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a final result of the project, <strong>a storage module will be developed<\/strong> that will have undergone rigorous experimental tests in the laboratory, including electrical, mechanical and thermal tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;From the point of view of materials, the use of thermoplastic composites allows the materials that make up the structural part of the batteries, at the end of their useful life, to have a higher percentage of recyclability than conventional systems, contributing to the circularity of the sector and making it more sustainable and
