Porsche, through Volkswagen Group Mexico, announced an alliance with Evergo to boost charging infrastructure in the country. <\/strong>Users of the German brand’s electric and hybrid cars will have access to a 150 kW fast charger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to a press release<\/strong><\/a> from Porsche<\/strong>, the main focus of this agreement is to multiply the public charging network for electric and hybrid vehicles currently available in Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The plan includes the installation of 15 fast charging centers (with 150 kW chargers and the capacity to increase their power in the future) in the most important highways in Mexico<\/strong> in the next 2 years; additionally, a project to install 9.6 kW AC chargers in strategic destinations is also planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the specific case of Porsche, this collaboration will benefit users of cars with electric and hybrid propulsion systems such as the Taycan, Cayenne E-Hybrid and Panamera E-Hybrid.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The chargers are strategically located on routes connecting the country’s main cities with destinations of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\nVehicles and Locations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
