And almost half of those emissions are generated by the freight and delivery fleets that represent just one in five vehicles in Mexico; just under 11 million vehicles in circulation.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Today, the transition of these fleets represents the simplest way to make a significant contribution to emissions reductions. Better regulation, greater certainty, lower costs will always be desirable, but they are not necessary. <strong>We have everything right now for a company to move its fleets to electric mobility<\/strong>,&#8221; he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his speech, <strong>Francisco Cabeza<\/strong> gave as an example the progress of two multinationals. &#8220;Here are <strong>Bimbo <\/strong>and <strong>DHL <\/strong>making great efforts and achieving enormous advances. In Mexico, they are two of the leading companies that have demonstrated that <strong>there is no reason to wait if you have a real commitment to the environment<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/AMIVE-c-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"AMIVE\" class=\"wp-image-23915\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/AMIVE-c-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/AMIVE-c-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/AMIVE-c-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/AMIVE-c-1536x1023.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/AMIVE-c-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/AMIVE-c.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AMIVE Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Francisco Cabeza<\/strong> pointed out that the organization seeks to promote change in the country, recognizing the seriousness of climate change that threatens life and the diversity of species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, he recognized the importance of advancing on misinformation and lack of training, so <strong>AMIVE will seek to build spaces for dialogue for members of the ecosystem<\/strong>, and serve as a bridge with the public sector in Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Among <strong>AMIVE<\/strong>&#8216;s first services will be to <strong>offer timely and useful information bulletins on the electric mobility ecosystem in Mexico and North America; and to develop and make available to companies and entrepreneurs a comprehensive electric mobility training and education program<\/strong>,&#8221; said Cabeza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>We need to build a common knowledge base<\/strong>.
