The University of Chile officially launched the Center for Sustainable Acceleration of Electromobility<\/strong> (CASE), with the aim of accelerating the adoption and impact of sustainable electromobility in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The initiative seeks to position Chile as an engine of technological and industrial development for Latin America and help achieve the carbon neutrality goals set for 2050, through projects that improve the quality of mobility services and expand the population’s access to the benefits of electromobility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the slogan “Challenges and opportunities of electromobility in Chile and the role of CASE in its development<\/strong>“, the presentation meeting brought together specialists to discuss the future of electromobility in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the official website of the University of Chile, Marcelo Matus, Executive Director of CASE, said that the creation of this center “marks an important milestone on the road to more sustainable transport in Chile and represents a significant commitment by various institutions and industry leaders to promote electric mobility and sustainable transport”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n For his part, Marcos Orchard, Director of CASE and an academic from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Chile, emphasized that the center’s main mission is to promote the adoption of electromobility through partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
