The Chinese company SUNRA, with more than 20 years of experience and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, is committed to electromobility on two wheels in Chile.

With this, they are part of the challenge present in the National Electromobility Strategy for 100% of light vehicle sales to be zero-emission by 2035.

SUNRA’s electric motorcycles seek to promote mobility alternatives in the southern country, with the availability of charging points in homes and offices.

SUNRA landed in Chile in 2019 and gradually began to make itself known in the market. “Chile has the Electromobility Strategy in process and we are aligned with it, that is, to contribute so that in 2035 100% of vehicle sales are zero emissions,” said Nicolás Donoso, General Manager of SUNRA Chile to Portal Innova.

He explained that electromobility is here to stay and the Chilean market will continue to grow. “It is essential to care for the environment, the collapse at the urban level, vehicle congestion and the economic impact at the general level, especially given the rise in fuel prices.

“With electric motorcycles we are providing a modern, efficient and state-of-the-art solution for both individuals and companies. In addition, we see with very good eyes the public-private impulses for this market to continue growing, although there is certainly still a long way to go, especially on the side of greater flexibility in regulations and greater focus on the necessary cultural advancement,” he added.

Years of Experience
