The remodeling and capacity expansion of Hitachi Energy’s electrical transformer plant in Colombia will allow an increase in production to supply local demand and that of other Latin American countries such as Mexico.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n According to a report by Forbes Mexico<\/strong>, after the reopening of the factory, the Swiss-Japanese company indicated that the sale of electrical transformers to Mexico is still not very representative, since in the last 3 years it has only been 30 million dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hitachi Energy<\/strong> highlighted that this plant in Colombia will be an ally to cover the demand for electrical transformers in Mexico, which has increased 1,000% from 2020 to 2023<\/strong>, mainly driven by the oil & gas segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
