Maria Cabeza, Leader for Latam Mobility in Mexico<\/strong>, shared her thoughts during the Climate Economy Forum – PreCOP28, a virtual meeting organized by Latam Green, the largest sustainable community in Latin America, in the company of Andres Garcia, Mobility Director at Invest in Latam,<\/strong> where together they explored the sustainable mobility landscape in Mexico.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Cabeza highlighted the importance of the information they have been receiving, underlining the need to give it significant attention. She emphasized the leaders’ commitment at the meeting<\/strong>, recognizing the clear challenges facing the mobility sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She stressed that, from their respective perspectives, it is key to engage and work together<\/strong> to address needs and find solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The central idea that the leader in Mexico for Invest in Latam<\/strong> conveyed is that progress in sustainable mobility requires collaboration and teamwork<\/strong> between different sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She highlighted the importance of events such as the Climate Economy Forum<\/strong> to provide the necessary spaces where leaders can come together, discuss and seek solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She also shared concrete plans for the coming year, such as the North America Mobility and Net Zero Summit 2024<\/strong>, scheduled for February 8 in Monterrey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cabeza<\/strong> concluded by inviting the public and private sectors to join forces<\/strong>, highlighting the Energy Summit in Mexico City in April and another event in October. Its vision is to bring together mobility leaders<\/strong> to work together and transmit the necessary strength to achieve significant advances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Andres Garcia rounded out Cabeza’s presentation<\/strong> by reporting on future meetings and opportunities for the coming year.
