{"id":26302,"date":"2023-12-07T05:10:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-07T10:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=26302"},"modified":"2023-12-06T16:30:40","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T21:30:40","slug":"evergo-celebrates-first-anniversary-in-mexico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/evergo-celebrates-first-anniversary-in-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"Evergo Celebrates First Anniversary in Mexico"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The electric vehicle charging network company <strong>Evergo <\/strong>celebrates its first year of operations in Mexico, positioning itself as one of the main drivers of the decarbonization of transportation in the country and the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One year into <strong>Evergo&#8217;s operations in Mexico, following the majority acquisition of E-DRIVE, a Mexican company that has been a leader in electric vehicle charging solutions since 2016, it has established itself as a benchmark in the current and future of electric mobility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has become the main driver of public charging infrastructure in the country with an announced investment of $200 million over the next five years, with the goal of installing more than 15,000 new charging stations in residential, commercial and public environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"547\" height=\"334\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/AVERG-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26296\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.6377245508982037;width:731px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/AVERG-2.png 547w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/AVERG-2-300x183.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 547px) 100vw, 547px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo: Evergo <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-challenges-and-opportunities\"><strong>Challenges and Opportunities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daniel Lopez<\/strong>, Chief Commercial Officer of <strong>Evergo<\/strong>, pointed out that the company has set as a clear objective, to achieve the decarbonization of transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong>As proof of this, in just this first year of operation we have deployed more than 5,000 new charging ports between the residential, fleet and public freight segments, thus meeting the needs of the entire universe of users and segments that have opted for electric mobility, making us an accelerator and benchmark in the transition to zero-emission mobility.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/evergo-and-grupo-pinero-inaugurate-fast-charging-station-in-the-dominican-republic\/\"><strong>Evergo and Grupo Pi\u00f1ero Inaugurate Fast Charging Station in the Dominican Republic<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the achievements made during <strong>Evergo<\/strong>&#8216;s first year of operation in Mexico are the strategic alliances with the main brands in the automotive industry for the deployment of public charging, such as <strong>BMW Group, Volvo, JAC and Chirey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The partnerships allow customers of each manufacturer to enjoy the following benefits: energy credits, access to <strong>Evergo<\/strong>&#8216;s global network, unique charging experience within the Evergo ecosystem, preferential prices through charging packages and special promotions; among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other achievements added during this first anniversary of Evergo are: <strong>Reaching more than 12,000 active users on Evergo App; more than 4,500 new residential chargers installed;
