In addition, <strong>93% of all waste generated was recycled,<\/strong> reused or repurposed in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the area of biodiversity, <strong>Toyota has collaborated with Pollinator Partnership and the National Environmental Education Foundation<\/strong> to develop 10,337.9 acres of pollinator habitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This effort aligns with previously announced commitments, and the company has launched programs with the <strong>Wildlife Habitat Council at 14 sites in North America<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These programs have achieved <strong>WHC&#8217;s voluntary Conservation Certification standard,<\/strong> seeking to enhance biodiversity and promote conservation education on corporate properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The 2023 report serves as a reflection of our current status, showing that we have made progress in some important and key areas, such as carbon and biodiversity, and we expect things to accelerate as we move into the second half of the 2030 Agenda,&#8221; <strong>says Kevin Butt, Director of Environmental Sustainability for Toyota Motor North America.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Achieving our goals is no easy task and will require even greater collaboration and commitment from our team members, suppliers, distributors and other partners, and we are committed to rising to the challenge,&#8221; <strong>he concluded.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In its latest sustainability report for North America, Toyota has revealed a number of notable advances in key areas, highlighting its commitment to environmental responsibility and the preservation of natural resources.
