{"id":27082,"date":"2024-01-03T05:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-03T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=27082"},"modified":"2023-12-26T13:57:20","modified_gmt":"2023-12-26T18:57:20","slug":"ald-automotive-highlights-increase-in-leasing-in-spain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/ald-automotive-highlights-increase-in-leasing-in-spain\/","title":{"rendered":"ALD Automotive Highlights Increase in Leasing in Spain"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Spanish Renting Association<\/strong> published its monthly analysis in which it highlights that more than 10% of the vehicles registered in renting are electrified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report reviewed in the official portal of <strong>ALD Automotive I LeasePlan, at the end of November 2023, a total of 27,519 units of the different types of electrified vehicles were registered in leasing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aforementioned figure represents <strong>a 31% growth<\/strong> compared to the data at the close of November 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"544\" height=\"335\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/ALD-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27060\" style=\"width:730px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/ALD-2.png 544w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/ALD-2-300x185.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo: ALD Automotive <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/general-motors-launches-first-electric-chevrolet-in-chile\/\"><strong>General Motors Launches First Electric Chevrolet in Chile<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-report-in-figures\"><strong>Report in Figures<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking into account all vehicles powered by alternative energies (electrified, hybrid, gas and hydrogen) at the end of November 2023, they account for more than 36% of total leasing registrations, while in the same period of 2022, their penetration was 32%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, leasing accounts for almost 24% of total registrations of alternative energy vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overall, a total of 269,402 units have been registered so far this year, almost 18% more than in the same period of 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the results of the total market in Spain, the data grow along the same lines, with an increase in registrations of 18%, with 1,026,843 units registered up to November 2023. <strong>Thus, the weight of leasing in total registrations is over 26%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vehicle segment in which leasing is most represented is that of derivatives, vans and pick-ups, in which the sector accounts for over 45% of the market, 8 percentage points more than in November 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In November, 24,426 vehicles were registered in the leasing sector, 3% more than in the same month last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total investment made in the acquisition of new vehicles by leasing companies as of November 2023 reached 5,998 million euros, almost 20% more than at the end of November 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Spanish Renting Association published its monthly analysis in which it highlights that more than 10% of the vehicles registered in renting are electrified.
