The Mayor’s Office of Bogota is executing a plan of works throughout the city that includes the Metro Network, the modernization of the feeder roads of this system, expansion of the entrances and exits of the metropolis, among others.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In this regard, the Mayor of the capital, Claudia Lopez<\/strong>, offered a balance of how the work is progressing to make Bogota a more sustainable city for its inhabitants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Bogota is a leader for having clear goals in environmental care with the Climate Action Plan, greening, waste management and transition to sustainable mobility with Metro lines, electric fleet, Regiotrams, cables, green corridors and hundreds of kilometers of bike paths. Today Bogota has a great infrastructure and sustainable mobility plan,” s<\/strong>he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The current District Administration is creating a Metro Network that starts in Bosa and Kennedy with the First Metro Line, which shows progress of 35% and will be operational in 2028<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, the Mayor’s Office will put out to tender the contracting of the Second Line, which will be 15 kilometers long, will be subway and will reach Suba and Engativ\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Likewise, by the end of this year, the Third Metro Line project will be in the feasibility stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\nBogot\u00e1 Metro Network<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
