The Energy Transition Project, the Triangular Cooperations and the DeveloPPP Project presented the study “Regulations and Technical Considerations for Electromobility in the Dominican Republic, Explanatory Report”.<\/strong><\/p> The publication highlights the most important aspects to understand the transition, pointing out that, in the medium and long term future, electric vehicles will have a considerable impact on the country’s electricity grid.<\/strong><\/p> Despite progress, the report indicates that in the short term the impact will remain low. “It is not yet necessary to require charging stations to provide ancillary services<\/strong>. For now,<\/strong> it is sufficient to consider electromobility as a conventional non-controllable load,” the publication reviews.<\/p>
