Samsara<\/strong>, one of the world’s leading telematics and fleet management companies, participated in the “North America Mobility & Net Zero Summit”,<\/strong> a meeting held for the first time in Monterrey, Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samsara<\/strong>‘s Marketing Manager, Fernanda Enriquez, gave the keynote speech “Sustainable Mobility as a Central Part of your Physical Operations”, in which she explained the importance of data in fleet efficiency.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She detailed that 77% of Samsara’s customers are aware that mobility and sustainability are a real need to improve the quality of life<\/strong> of citizens and environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information is Essential<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Enriquez assured that data is crucial to make decisions and focus on the impact that operations are generating. “We have to make measurements through data, without data we cannot begin to implement sustainable mobility and define objectives.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She explained that Samsara <\/strong>has three fundamental pillars: safety, efficiency and sustainability<\/strong>, with the goal of impacting emissions reduction globally and not regionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We have the fuel and energy part. You have to measure, data is your best friend, you have to analyze it and improve efficiency,” the executive emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For operators who still have hermeticism and resistance to change, Enriquez explained that the transition to electric units can be done progressively, a process in which Samsara is a specialist through thorough analysis and technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She noted that Samsara has achieved milestones such as 2.3 billion pounds in CO2<\/sub> emissions reduction, more than 200,000 accidents avoided, 220 million processes digitized, and 280 million gallons of fuel saved<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Data is important, but if it’s not analyzed, it’s useless. We can start the transition with small steps and understand that digitalization is no longer a plus, it is a necessity. Information is power<\/strong>,” concluded Enriquez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
