VEMO <\/strong>announced the closing of a strategic equity round by Orion Infrastucture Capital (OIC) and joins Riverstone Holdings as the second U.S. fund specializing in sustainable infrastructure to invest in the Mexican company.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The transaction reflects OIC’s confidence in VEMO<\/strong>‘s approach to accelerating the adoption of clean mobility in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“VEMO’s innovative model aligns with our goal of partnering with pioneering and innovative companies that are shaping the transition to the future of sustainable infrastructure,” <\/strong>said Gerrit Nicholas<\/strong>, Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of OIC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the same vein, Drew Karian<\/strong>, Director and Chief Investment Officer at OIC, noted that they were impressed by the experience, execution capabilities and skills of VEMO<\/strong>‘s management team and employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
