{"id":29379,"date":"2024-02-29T05:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-29T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/?p=29379"},"modified":"2024-02-28T17:31:28","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T22:31:28","slug":"mexico-electromobility-regulations-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/mexico-electromobility-regulations-published\/","title":{"rendered":"Mexico: Electromobility Regulations Published"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Mexico&#8217;s <strong>National Regulatory Improvement Commission<\/strong> (Conamer) has published the agreement by which the <strong>Energy Regulatory Commission<\/strong> (CRE) issues the general administrative provisions on electromobility to integrate the charging infrastructure for electric and hybrid vehicles into the National Electric System (SEN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the document published in the <strong>Conamer<\/strong>, the provisions have the general objective of <strong>regulating the orderly connection of charging infrastructure for electric and hybrid vehicles, in a safe manner to the SEN<\/strong>, as well as the development of a digital platform that allows to know the evolution of the charging infrastructure in Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To this end, the organization requests to establish the general requirements to be met by those interested in integrating charging infrastructure to the <strong>SEN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"557\" height=\"396\" src=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/EVER-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29373\" style=\"width:733px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/EVER-2.png 557w, https:\/\/latamobility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/EVER-2-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 557px) 100vw, 557px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo: Evego<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/latamobility.com\/en\/ldr-solutions-announces-changes-in-jetour-and-foton-mexico\/\"><strong>LDR Solutions Announces Changes in JETOUR and FOTON Mexico<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-aspects\"><strong>Key Aspects<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It points out the importance of promoting the participation of qualified personnel in the installation and connection of equipment dedicated to the charging of electric and hybrid vehicles that will receive electricity supply from the <strong>SEN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Establish the information to be provided by End Users and Suppliers in order to integrate a system (Platform) of relevant public information on the charging infrastructure of such vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is indicated that based on the <strong>National Electric System Development Program<\/strong> (Prodesen) <strong>2022-2036, where it is determined that Smart Grids provide greater precision and flexibility in the management of the demand and consumption of electric energy <\/strong>and modify the current concept of the unidirectional Electric Grid at the distribution level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, a <em>Forbes <\/em>report reviewing the document states that by 2036 a scenario of light electric vehicles, cargo vehicles and buses is proposed, reaching <strong>the integration of around 4.9 million electric vehicles<\/strong>, which would mean 32.3% of the motor vehicles estimated to be marketed in 2036.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>CRE <\/strong>indicates that the provisions are of public order, general interest and observance throughout the national territory and shall be subject to its compliance, the <strong>National Energy Control Center<\/strong>, Distributors, Suppliers, and End Users for the integration of charging infrastructure to the <strong>SEN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-latam-mobility-in-mexico\"><strong>Latam Mobility in Mexico<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In October, <a href=\"https:\/\/live.eventtia.com\/es\/latammobilitymexico24\/HOME\"><strong>&#8220;Latam Mobility: Mexico 2024&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> will be held at the Word Trade Center in Mexico City, at a key moment for the development and promotion of new technologies that make up the sustainable mobility environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Mexican territory,<strong> Latam Mobility closes the 2024 tour<\/strong>, in its efforts as part of the main networking and value generation network in Latin America, Invest in Latam, which includes initiatives such as <strong>Latam Green<\/strong>, in the field of sustainability, and <strong>H2 Business News<\/strong>, linked to clean fuels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To purchase tickets for &#8220;<strong>Latam Mobility: Mexico 2024<\/strong>&#8221;
